Sira e Remino

Venturing slightly further afield for dinner on our fourth night in Toscana, we drive about 20 minutes towards the small town of San Gusmè.

The ristorante here is quite different to what we have experienced thus far as they specialize in meat rather than pasta although the latter is certainly available.

Taking our cue from what the people at next table are enjoying, we order tagliata ai porcini and grand tagliata di Remino which comes sizzling on a hot plate.

The food is superb and very reasonably priced at €60 for the four of us.
