A la Côte Bretonne

A cute little restaurant in Versailles that’s clearly popular with the locals, particularly families with young children.

Specializing in the very traditional French meal of galettes for entrée or main and crêpes for dessert but serving little else.

We select galettes of camembert, pâté de campagne breton and blanc de poulet et fromage and then finish with crêpes of banane et chocolat au lait, banane et glacé cafe et cognac, chocolat au lait et amande and coco éminée et vanille et chocolat noir et crème.

A bolée cidre pomme brut is recommended but I can’t do the same. However, the meal is filling and good, especially at the price of €50.
